Sport of Racing Can Be Tough On Life

Racing as a career has it's ups and it's downs.
For driver's it's either a hobby or a career and for Justin Henderson it's all about a little bit of both. It's tough to make a living when you race locally, but to live out your career like Henderson traveling across the country, he says it's a lot easier when you're on the go.
"It's definitely tough to make enough money when you're racing locally. It's a lot easier to make money when you're running on the road with the World of Outlaws because the purses are larger. Around home here the purses are about a quarter of what they are when you're racing a World of Outlaw race every night," said Henderson, "So you definitely have to win or run the top three at least to get the money coming in."
