It's exercise it's commrodery it's competition it's fun. For Terry Comstock there's been one constant throughout his life.. the drive,.. the chip.. and the putt. While the game may seem repetitive for some.. Terry Comstock couldn't disagree more.
Comstock says, "The pin is a different place the hole location the t box is different. everything. its the same but its not."
Twice in the past two years.. Terry's golf score matched his age.
Comstock says, "You know 67 at Prairie Greem 68 here..I'll take it."
Something he has had is eye on for the past couple of years.
Comstock says, "You know its always how soon do you do it I wanted to do it at 66 you think about it when your 65."
But Terry isn't just a retiree who's been putting and pitching on the local links for the past few years.
He was the golf pro for a number of decades at Elmwood in sioux falls
Comstock says, "I played the tour for about a year and ahalf not very successful."
And while shooting your age may mean seem to get easier and easier each year.. it just means more work staying fit.
Comstock says, "You gotta keep working at it. You got to stay in shape you got to work on your game.. you got to have a game."
While the Terry Comstock adds on the years.. he plans to keep lowering the amounts strokes it takes to play 18. Jeff Rusack KDLT Sports, Sioux Falls.
