Suspect Arrested In String Of Burglaries In SD, NE

The Charles Mix County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in a string of thefts and business burglaries in southeastern South Dakota and northeastern Nebraska.
 
Sheriff Randy Thaler says authorities searched a Lake Andes residence on Tuesday and recovered numerous stolen items.
 
The person arrested is a suspect in thefts and burglaries in the South Dakota towns of Platte, Pickstown, Lake Andes, Fairfax, Delmont, Tripp and Avon, and in Nebraska's Boyd County.
 
The dollar amount of recovered money and property was not immediately calculated.
