The arrows and the bow, two of the essentials in the male dominated sport of professional bow hunting. But these manicured fingers and bedazzled t-shirt belong to no man.
"It's a lot of hand eye coordination for sure," said KaCey Dixon.
KaCey Dixon also know as Miss Huntress 2011, shoots arrows at targets and animals for a living.
"You're so up close and personal with the outdoors you can have an animal walk five freet from you," said Dixon, "I harvest a wolf in Nipagon, Ontario last March.
The sport of archery has only recently attracted Dixon and she only went pro a little over a year ago when she won the 2011 Camels Outdoor Competition.
"If you just try it, just get out there and try it you'll be really surprised," said Dixon.
But while Dixon dominates at the archery range she can also play pretty well at another range. Dixon golfs at a professional level too. But her passion now remains on the hunt.
Dixon said, "It's about being out there in the outdoors and enjoying mother nature."
But a woman with a bow feels welcomed to a sport that can be demanding at times.
"Men are actaully really supportive with the women getting involved in this sport," said Dixon.
With her sights on a bullseye KaCey Dixon looks to excel as a professional huntress and encorage other woman to enjoy the sport of archery.
