Its no secret that many areas continue to deteriorate even though we have actually seen some rain in a lot of locations as of late. But unfortunately, its just not enough. Now some areas of the Sioux Empire have fallen into the Exceptional drought category or the worst kind of drought possible. Not all that surprising when you actually analyze the numbers. Many of the areas now considered to be in the worst kind of drought have seen a quarter or less of their average rainfall since May which doesn’t bode well for what’s typically the wettest months of the year.
