SD Senators Against Proposal To Charge For Missouri River Water

Bookmark and Share

A proposal by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to charge for Missouri River water is not sitting well with South Dakota senators.

Both Senators John Thune and Tim Johnson say the proposal it out of line, and they are calling for a hearing in the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee to look into the matter.

In the letter asking for the hearing, they request that South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley be asked to testify.
