The Sioux Falls Storm announces that Chris Dixon II has decided to re-sign with the team for the 2013 season.

“Chris is a three time league MVP that makes everyone around him better.  We are excited to have him back and have a chance to defend our back to back titles!” - Kurtiss Riggs, who also recently signed a two year deal as the Storm’s Head Coach.

2013 will mark Dixon's third season with the Storm. The three-time league MVP joined the Storm in 2011 after a successful career with the Billings Outlaws where he won three National Championships. Dixon led the Sioux Falls Storm to its 6th National Championship and undefeated season. The MVP quarterback finished the season with 363 passes for 3,321 yards and 97 touchdowns.  Dixon now holds the All Time Single Season Record for Passing Yards and Passing Touchdowns for the Storm. The standout season earned Dixon IFL MVP, IFL Offensive Player of the Year and First All-IFL honors.

“After spending a few months here in the off-season, I have realized how great the city of Sioux Falls is, and how loyal and great the fans are. This has made me realize that this is the best place for me to play, and for my family to live.  I love the direction that the Sioux Falls Storm is headed, and am excited to be part of the continued excellence we have displayed on the field.” – Chris Dixon II
