Icon Lounge Hosts "No Party" Party

Bookmark and Share

A “no party” party was held at Icon Lounge in Sioux Falls Monday night, to urge young professionals to get excited about the upcoming election.

Voters had the chance to meet, greet and network with 21 candidates from districts all over the city, with one catch, all candidates left their political party status at the door.

State Senator from District 12, Mark Johnston said he hoped people in attendance took away a specific message.

"Vote. It's very important that everybody in the Sioux Falls area votes. It's a freedom that we have that men and women put their life on the line for us every single day," said Johnston.

The General Election is on November 6th.
