A Few Snowflakes In The Forecast

A swift change in the seasons is on the way, which means residents north of Highway 12 could see their first snowflake of the season.
As an area of low pressure deepens through the Dakotas, scattered rain showers will develop Wednesday night and stick around through Thursday. KDLT meteorologists say temperatures, however, could fall enough where a snowflake or two could mix in with some of the rain both Wednesday night and Thursday night.
With ground temperatures well above freezing and air temperatures at or above freezing, KDLT meteorologists say no accumulation is expected and travel will not be impacted. But the potential for accumulating snow is close as winter weather advisories and winter storm watches have been issued for much of North Dakota and northern Minnesota.
