Great Plains Zoo Holds Naming Contest For Baby Giraffe

The Great Plains Zoo is looking for ideas on what to call their newest baby.

Officials today started a contest to name a reticulated giraffe born Sept. 2.

Oct. 3 through Oct. 14, anyone can suggest a name for the calf for a $10 donation. After that, voting on the suggested names will stay open through Oct. 28. Each vote will require a $1 donation.
    
All proceeds will directly benefit the anmials at the Great Plains Zoo.
    
You can both suggest and vote at the zoo's website.
