SFPD Investigate Pizza Delivery Robbery

Sioux Falls police say a pizza delivery driver is not injured after being robbed on the job Thursday night.

Officials say the driver was making a delivery to an apartment at 12th Street and Summit Avenue in central Sioux Falls around 10:30 p.m. when the crime occurred. The driver was getting back into the car when the suspect pinned his leg in the car door and demanded his cash.

Police describe the suspect as a 25-30 year old man of either Hispanic or Native American heritage with a teardrop tattoo under his left eye. He stands about 6 foot 3 inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crimestoppers.
