SF Humane Society Runs Out Of Dog Food

Sioux Falls Humane Society directors say the animal shelter is in desperate need of dog food donations.

The humane society ran out of Purina Dog Chow Friday, and staff members have purchased some bags.

If you'd like to help, you can bring bags of dog food to the animal shelter in northeast Sioux Falls. Staff members ask that people specifically bring Purina Dog Chow because switching the types of food can make the dogs sick.

Officials say they're doing okay on puppy and cat food at this time, but food donations for all animals are always welcome. For specifics on what types of food the shelter uses, click here.
