Stampede Get First Win in Home Opener

The Sioux Falls Stampede had their home opener at the Sioux Falls Arena Friday night as they hosted the Omaha Lancers after dropping their 1st two games on the road last weekend.

The Herd would get things going early and not look back with two first period goals by Milan and Calderone.

The Herd win by a final 5-3. Sioux Falls native Zeb Knutson gets his first goal in the win. Kyle Schempp had a goal to go along with two assists.

The Stampede are now 1-2-0 on the season and are in Des Moines on Saturday.
