The 83rd annual Vikings Day took place Saturday as Augustana College students celebrated homecoming weekend.
Monday night was coronation, Friday night there was a toga dance, and Saturday morning some of the 1,800 students that attend the school, lined the streets for a parade.
Floats filled with alumni, cheerleaders, and even the choir made an appearance getting students pepped up for Saturday night’s game against Mankato.
"It's really exciting and everyone is really excited to be an Augie Viking. And there are a lot of alumni back. Its kind of fun,” said Carolyn Johnson, an Augustana Student.
Also over the weekend was the Viking Variety student talent show.
