Mutts In A Maze

Bookmark and Share

The Sioux Falls Humane Society is being helped in more ways than one. Some of the admission money raised at the second annual ‘Mutts in the Maze,’ will go to the shelter.

The event took place Sunday afternoon at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park.

Some 200 dogs with their owners were expected to venture through a maze on a scavenger hunt.

Sunday is the only day pets are allowed in the maze.

Normally the maze is only for people, but that was changed a couple of years ago so our four legged family members aren’t left out.

"We're just really excited to have everyone out, and partner with the Humane Society and to give everybody a chance to include everybody in a family activity,” said Christina Lien, coordinator of Mutts in the Maze.

At the park there were also pet venders giving owners advice and showing off their services they offer in the Sioux Empire.
