High Winds and Much Needed Rainfall

A picture is worth a thousand words, so this one speaks volumes. This pretty much sums up Wednesday and Thursday across the area as South Dakotans were greeted with hurricane force winds, chilly temperatures, and rainfall that was far overdue. Some of the highest non thunderstorm wind gusts the area has seen in years rolled through central and western South Dakota, which overturned semis, damaged roofs, and knocked down trees and powerlines.
