The South Dakota Agriculture Department has ordered Black Hills Milk in Belle Fourche to stop selling raw milk after harmful bacteria was found in a sampling of unpasteurized milk.
The company was ordered to discontinue sales on Tuesday.
Company owners Dawn and John Habek, say they don't dispute the state's findings. But they say raw milk producers are being unfairly targeted by regulators.
Officials say raw milk purchased recently from the business should be returned or thrown out because it may contain harmful bacteria that can lead to campylobacter infection.
