	High Winds Hinder Firefighters In Apartment Fire by KDLT News October 19, 2012 8:40 PM High winds made it difficult for firefighters in Luverne Thursday night. They battled an apartment fire, but were unable to save the building. No one was hurt, but the top two floors were badly damaged. Some residents lost most of their belongings; others on the first floor will be dealing with smoke and water damage. The American Red Cross is providing temporary housing at a local hotel. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
