Almost a month after a Sioux Falls city ban on texting while driving took effect, police haven't written a ticket yet.
Motorists say they're not surprised, because they say it would be difficult for police to spot someone texting while they are driving.
City drivers are happy about the ban even if no one's been caught yet for doing it.
Brendan Hurley says it would be "so wasteful to have an injury or death by something as avoidable as texting while driving."
Sioux Falls is the only South Dakota city with a ban on texting while driving. Violations can cost up to $260.
