A carjacking in Rapid City ended when the suspect rolled the vehicle following a chase with police that reached speeds of 120 mph.
Police say the man stole a car from another man in a parking lot at gunpoint Monday afternoon, and later rolled it on Interstate 90 after authorities who gave chase used road spikes to flatten the tires.
The 35-year-old suspect was taken to a Sturgis hospital with what police said were non-life threatening injuries. He was released Monday night and arrested on several charges including robbery and eluding law enforcement.
