The Sioux Falls Stampede sit at 7-3 on the year and whats even more impressive is they are a perfect 6-0 on their home ice.
It's hard to argue that any success is better than last season, but that could be contributed to the new head coach. He's got his players attention and it is showing out on the ice.
"Coach Eades is great. He's a great coach. He runs terrific practices. On the bench, a great coach on the bench. Great teacher so he's fantastic," said Goalie, Charlie Lindgren.
"This year, Eades is more of an intense guy and he expects perfection. I mean all the time, he harps on us, execution in practice, making plays," said Matt Van Voorhis.
The Herd are home again next weekend, taking on the Fargo Force on Friday and the Chicago Steel on Saturday. Puck drops at 7:05 pm both nights.
