Head-On Crash Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Injured

One man is dead and two others injured in a head-on crash Friday evening.
 
The accident happened at Highway 11 and Split Rock Road in Sioux Falls. Police say a Honda Civic was traveling down Highway 11 when it suddenly swerved and hit a Pontiac Bonneville head-on.
 
The 19-year-old man driving the Civic was pronounced dead at the scene. The 55-year-old driver of the Pontiac and his passenger had to be extricated from their car, and were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No names have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
