Deuel County Investigates Daytime Burglary

On Oct. 30, 2012, the Deuel County Sheriff’s Office investigated a burglary at a residence outside of Brandt, in rural Deuel County.
They've now released a composite sketch of the suspect. He is described as follows: white male, middle aged, thin to medium build, 5’8” to 5’10” with a black mustache and beard. The suspect was wearing glasses and wore a tan cap with a black bill, denim jacket and blue jeans. The suspect was driving a dark grey Chevy Silverado pickup.
Authorities believe the individual may also be responsible for multiple daytime burglaries that have occurred in Codington, Hamlin, Brookings and possibly Minnehaha Counties in recent weeks.
