1 Dead In Sioux Falls Apartment Fire

One person is dead in an early morning apartment fire in Sioux Falls.
Firefighters evacuated the building at 1004 N. Covell Ave. for about two hours after the fire was reported about 4 a.m. Tuesday. The cause of the blaze was not immediately determined.
Officials say crews who entered the apartment found heavy fire in the living room and kitchen. It took firefighters 20 minutes to put out the blaze.
Police did not immediately identify the victim.
