"The Drive" inspires Jacks head coach

Bookmark and Share

The incredible 18 play, 94 yard drive in the final seconds without a timeout left to win the game Saturday 16-12 over Southern Illinois made this coming Saturday's game at NDSU even bigger with a Missouri Valley Conference title at stake. But it was the belief that they could pull it off in the first place that inspires SDSU football coach John Stiegelmeier. The Jacks are 7-2 overall and 5-1 in the MVC, tied with the top-ranked Bison atop the conference standings. They play Saturday afternoon in Fargo.
