Canistota makes it 3 straight titles, 36 straight wins!

The Canistota Hawks returned most of their starters from last year's team that had won a 2nd straight title and 24 straight games. After Friday's 52-8 win over Warner in the 9-A title game you can add 12 to the winning streak and a 3rd straight state title to Lenny Schroeder's team. Cody Bunger led the way with 3 interceptions on defense. He was 12 of 13 passing for 294 yards and Nick Hofer caught 7 of those passes for 195 yards and 2 TD's. It was a dominating performance by a team that has been doing that to opponents for 3 years. Warner finished up a great season with an 11-1 record. But the Monarchs were down 34-0 in the first half before finally getting on the board.
