	Senator Johnson Holds Vet Panel by KDLT News November 09, 2012 6:51 PM With Veteran’s Day fast approaching, Senator Tim Johnson took a look at unemployment and homelessness for veterans in South Dakota. The senator held a panel discussion, trying to determine what’s the best way to get men and women who have returned from deployment into a well paying job. One member of the panel says under employment remains an issue, stating vets will often work a number of low paying jobs. The senator feels with appropriate private and public sector cooperation, more jobs will be found for vets. There are more than 300 homeless veterans in the Sioux Falls area.
