Beaner leads top-ranked Roosevelt to state volleyball

Senior Ashley Beaner did not want her high school volleyball career to end Friday night. So she carried her young and talented teammates to a straight set win over Lincoln in the Region 1-AA match with 16 kills. Watertown, Huron and Mitchell filled the final 4 spots in next week's "AA" tournament in Rapid City. Roosevelt was the top-ranked team in the final regular season poll.
