While there may not be snow all over the Sioux Empire, there is one place in particular that seems to be getting ahead of mother nature.
Great Bear Recreational Park made snow for 14 hours Sunday night. And they are planning to do the same Monday night.
Managers say the cooler temperatures are helping them give the 20 acres of ski hills a nice white look.
Over a season the park uses 13,000,000 to 14,000,000 gallons of water to make snow.
If it does stay cold, managers say ski hills may be ready before the December first target date.
