Woman Arrested After Stabbing Boyfriend

A woman is behind bars accused of stabbing her boyfriend after an argument.

Sioux Falls Police were called to an apartment at 637 1/2 S. Dakota Ave. just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say Myrtle Blacklance stabbed 47-year-old Jay Johns in the leg after a short argument. Johns was taken to Avera McKennan Hospital, where he was treated and released.

Blacklance is in jail for domestic aggravated assault.
