Top 2 seeds upset at "AA" in Rapid City

The top 2 seeds were beaten in first round play in Rapid City at the "AA" tournament. Watertown shocked O'Gorman 3-1 Thursday afternoon and the home team, RC Stevens beat Aberdeen Central 3-1 in the final match of the night. In the "A" at Watertown, 2nd-seeded Pine Ridge lost to Sioux Valley 3-1, Top seed Belle Fourche advanced, but top-ranked Wagner lost to Dakota Valley 3-1.
