State volleyball recap from semifinal night

The Warner Monarchs are 3 sets away from a perfect season! But they must beat upset-minded Arlington Saturday night in the "B" title match. The Cardinals knocked off previously unbeaten Parker 3-2 Friday night as Samantha Boeck had 35 kills. In the "A" at Watertown it will be SF Christian against Dakota Valley. The defending champion Chargers got 19 kills from Kristen Stern as they beat Sioux Valley 3-1 and the Panthers had great balance in their 3-0 win over top-seeded Bell Fourche. Dakota Valley also beat top-ranked Wagner in their first round win. As for the "AA" in Rapid City, it will be Washington against Roosevelt Saturday night. Emma Hanson's 17 kills propelled the Warriors over Watertown 3-1 and the Riders Maggie DeJong led her team past RC Stevens 3-1. She had 17 kills and Ashley Beaner had 15.
