Roosevelt Wins 5th State Volleyball Title

The Sioux Falls Roosevelt volleyball team came into the 2012 Class AA State Volleyball Tournament with a 21-5 record, seeded third and are now walking away with their 5th state title.

The Rough Riders had to face in city rival in the Washington Warriors to do so and they did convincingly with a 3-0 win on Saturday in Rapid City.

The Riders took down the Warriors 25-21, 25-20 and 25-16 in straight sets to take home the championship.
