Mitchell Police Searching For Armed Robber

Mitchell Police are searching for a person who robbed Dakota Sunset Liquors at 1524 W. Havens Street shortly before midnight Saturday.

Lieutenant Don Everson says the suspect, armed with a long gun, entered the store at 11:53 pm.

He’s described as a white male between 5'10" and 6'0" tall, wearing a black coat, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes. The suspect was wearing a white ball cap with some type of emblem and white material over his face.

Lt. Everson says the suspect left throught the south door but not before he got away with over $1,000 cash.
