Update: Garretson Man Turns Self In

A man wanted by Minnehaha County law enforcement on charges of raping a child turned himself in Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said a warrant was issued Nov. 16 for 29-year-old Kristopher Aslesen of Garretson for two counts of first degree rape of a victim younger than 13, a Class C felony.
Authorities said Tuesday morning Aslesen is an over the road truck driver with a history of similar crimes. His truck was found in Bloomington, Ill. the same day the warrant was issued.
Aslesen was convicted of felony sexual contact with a minor under the age of 16 in Davison County in 2003 and is listed on the
sex offender registry.
Officials say Aslesen may face more charges.
