Bookmark and Share

One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting early Tuesday morning in Marty.

Federal and tribal agents are investigating and say they have arrested Dancing Bull Fischer for the shooting.

Investigators are trying to piece together what exactly happened early Tuesday morning in a mobile home just outside Marty.

According to court documents more than seven people were in the home early Tuesday and there was more than one child present at the time of the shooting.

A number of those people were drinking including Dancing Bull Fischer and Tony Fischer Sr.

According to investigators a witness was in another room and heard Dancing Bull Fischer yell, “they're messing with dad.”

The witness said he heard as many as five gunshots when he walked into the same room as Dancing Bull Fischer. The witness saw him holding an assault rifle and saw two men shot on the ground.

One man was Tony Fischer Sr. who was pronounced dead on the scene. The other was Dominic Fischer whose condition is still unknown.

The home is a couple miles outside of Marty. It sits across the street from a cow pasture.

Investigators were busy snapping pictures and gathering evidence in the front of the home where evidence markers were placed on the front steps.

Dancing Bull Fischer is being charged with second-degree murder.
