Brandon PD Looking For Missing Man

Police in Brandon are asking for help finding a man who did not return to his assisted living center.

Officials say 65-year-old Lance Salo was last seen being taken by a shuttle bus to the VA Regional Medical Center in Sioux Falls for a doctor's appointment Monday. They say he was dropped off at the building, but did not attend his appointment.

Police say Salo suffers from dementia and has a history with alcoholism. He was last seen carrying a backpack and said he wanted to go to California on a bus. Officers say he did not purchase a bus ticket.

Salo is described as standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair.

Anyone with information on Salo's whereabouts is asked to call the Brandon Police Department.
