Brookings City Council Talks Texting Ban

Brookings is another South Dakota town that has looked into a texting and driving ban.
In November, the Brookings city council decided to move forward with drafting a citywide ordinance that could ban texting and driving.
On Tuesday, the council is scheduled to meet again to have their first official reading on the proposal.
On December 18th, a second reading will be held which will include comments from the public and council.
Following the comments, the council will vote on whether to approve the texting and driving ban.
