	Sen. Thune Thinks Gov. Had Right Call On Budget by KDLT News December 05, 2012 7:00 PM Senator John Thune says he thinks Governor Dennis Daugaard made the right call by proposing a fiscally conservative budget as the fight to avoid the fiscal cliff drags on. Thune says any lawmaker or businessperson who gets federal money is wise to plan for a future without that money. The automatic spending cuts and tax increases go into effect Jan. 2 if a deal isn’t struck.
