Man Pleads Guilty To Abusive Sexual Contact

A Lower Brule man has pleaded guilty to abusive sexual contact.
Fifty-six-year-old Merle Wilson faces up to three years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced in February.
Authorities say the charge stems from a July 31 incident in which Wilson had sexual contact with a female victim, who was incapable of appraising the nature of the conduct and was physically incapable of rejecting the sexual contact.
Wilson was released on bond pending sentencing.
