Sioux Falls, SD—The United States Hockey League (USHL) announced Monday that Stampede goaltender Charlie Lindgren has been named Reebok Goaltender of the Week. This marks the second time this season that Lindgren has won the award.

The Lakeville, Minn. native earns the honor after going 2-0-0 and posting a 0.50 goals against average (GAA) and a .984 save percentage in two games over the weekend.

On Friday, Lindgren recorded his second shutout of the season, stopping all 41 shots faced in a 2-0 victory at Tri-City.

He followed that game with a 21 save performance Sunday night in a 3-1 victory at Sioux City.

Lindgren is 10-4-1 on the season with a 2.39 GAA and a .915 save percentage. His 10 wins are tied for the second most in the league while his goals against average ranks fifth and his save percentage is seventh overall in the USHL.

Lindgren and the first place Stampede return to action this Saturday when they travel to Lincoln to face the Stars at The Ice Box at 7:05 PM. On Sunday, Sioux Falls will play in the new Ralston Arena against the Omaha Lancers at 5:05 PM.

The Herd return home for games on, December 21st and 22nd. Tickets are available through the Sioux Falls Arena Box Office or any Ticketmaster location.
