DeJong is Gatorade Player of Year

Roosevelt junior Maggie DeJong has been named Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year in South Dakota. DeJong helped her Rough Riders win the "AA" state title and was at her best in Rapid City in the state tournament when she had 46 kills and 37 digs and 12 blocks. She had 374 kills for the season when the Riders went 24-5.
