For the second year in a row, dozens of volunteers at Faith Baptist Fellowship on 57th and Minnesota Avenue spent Saturday wrapping other people's presents.
The church looked like Santa's Workshop with different stations set up around the room. No gift was too big or too small for church volunteers, who did all the wrapping for free.
“We wanted a way to give ourselves to the public. Jesus Christ gave us the greatest gift over 2,000 years ago and we wanted to do some tiny thing that we can to show our love for him and give back to the community,” said Joyce Swanson, a volunteer.
Members of the church donated supplies for the event and Shopko and Walmart agreed to take back any unused items.
