Whiteside double-double not enough for Force

Bookmark and Share

Newcomer Hassan Whiteside had slam dunks on 4 of 5 trips down the floor to help the Skyforce erase a 9 point first quarter lead for the defending D-League champion Iowa Energy Tuesday night. He went on to score 17 points and grab 15 rebounds, but the home team went ice cold after intermission and lost 102-80, falling to 7-4 on the season. It was just the 3rd win in 10 games for the Energy who were led by Paul Harris who poured in 34 points. The Skyforce host the Maine Redclaws Friday and Saturday at the SF Arena.
