Police Say Toddler Death Is Suspicious In Sioux Falls

Police are investigating what they are calling a suspicious death of an 18-month-old toddler in Sioux Falls.
On Christmas Eve police were called to Sycamore Avenue for a medical emergency. They were told the 18-month-old was not breathing and didn’t have a pulse.
The child was transported to Avera for medical treatment and later died.
An autopsy was done Wednesday afternoon and police say there were some suspicious medical findings surrounding the death.
A Criminal investigation is ongoing at this time.
