After Holiday Shopping Rush

The day after Christmas could be a busy one for people, cleaning up after the holidays, getting back into routines and even returning or exchanging gifts.
Some people are just not satisfied with their Christmas gifts and Best Buy officials have prepared in advance for after holiday customer traffic.
A lot of people lined up at Best Buy Wednesday, waiting to exchange a gift for exactly what they wanted or to get a refund.
"It could get really out of hand and busy," said Phillips.
Customer Service Supervisor at Best Buy, Stacey Phillips, said every available agent is on the schedule to work the after holiday rush.
"We prepare weeks, even months in advance and have meetings about what we're going to do to keep everything running smoothly," said Phillips.
People have all kinds of reasons for waiting in customer services lines following Christmas.
"We have people that may have gotten a TV and want a bigger one or they want a special TV that has Internet functions, so they come in to upgrade," said Phillips.
Mindy Moore and her son Eli's mission, was to exchange a game.
"I got my son a xbox 360 game and he got it home and opened it and it didn't work," said Moore.
When Eli opened up his Lord of the Rings game on Christmas, he was excited, but that quickly turned to disappointment when he put the game into his xbox and it wouldn't play.
"I was mad," said Eli.
Eli said all he wanted to do was to try out his new game for the first time.
"I've seen the movies and they were good and they just looked fun to play that game," said Eli.
For some people, waiting in lines to return or exchange items could be a hassle and time consuming, however customer service representatives hope to alleviate some of that holiday stress by having people ready to help.
"We're just trying to talk to everyone and keep a good attitude about it," said Phillips.
Even though the day after Christmas is a busy one for shoppers and retailers, many people waiting in the customer service line Wednesday said they want to get their returns and exchanges done right away rather than putting them off and potentially forgetting to do it in the future.
Best Buy officials said more than 400 returns and exchanges took place Wednesday.
