Hundreds of skiers and snowboarders took advantage of the fresh snow and hit the slopes at Great Bear Recreation Park on Saturday.
Great Bear staff said that Friday was the busiest day they've seen in the last two years and that the snowfall couldn't have come at a better time.
"It fell right over Christmas break. A lot of people aren't working and are taking some time off," said Dan Grider, General Manager of Great Bear. "The kids are out of school so this is just the perfect storm for us if you will."
The park said that over 1,600 people were on the slopes on Friday and they expect to have another record turnout by the end of Saturday.
