	SD Man Receives Probation For Assulting Park Ranger by Associated Press January 05, 2013 2:15 PM A Rapid City man has been sentenced to probation for assaulting a park ranger. U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson has announced that 25-year-old Cody Gallagher has been sentenced to two years of probation with four months of home confinement for assaulting the federal officer. Prosecutors say Gallagher assaulted the park ranger who was attempting to make Gallagher leave the Horsethief Lake Campground in July. Gallagher pleaded guilty to the charge in October.
