Sioux Falls Police are searching for the man they say robbed a gas station at gunpoint Monday morning.
Officers were called to the BP station on 18th Street and Cleveland Avenue shortly before 7 a.m. Authorities say the suspect entered the gas station with a gun and demanded money. The robber left on foot, heading north, with an undisclosed amount of money.
Officers are not sure yet if this robbery is connected to other recent robberies in the city.
Officer Sam Clemens says, "It's probably hard to say at this point. Obviously the similarities are there, but that's something detectives will look at. But it's pretty early in the game to say this is related to the others."
The suspect is described as a black man, standing 6'3 to 6'5. He was wearing all black, including a black mask.
