Bookmark and Share

A suspicious death in Sioux Falls is now being investigated as a homicide.

Fifty-year-old Cresencio Conde-Vargas was found dead in his home on Monday. Police Lt. Blaine Larsen says the man had head trauma but no guns or knives were used. He also says authorities believe Conde-Vargas knew his attacker. No arrest has been made.

Police responded to Conde-Vargas' home on Monday afternoon to check on his well-being when he did not show up for work, and found him dead. Larsen says he likely was killed over the weekend. An autopsy is being done.
